As she arrived to Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles, the 34-year-old superstar, who is nominated in five categories, radiated beauty as she posed with her flower-covered cloak over her wavy tresses and figure-hugging gown.

Eventually, the Juice hitmaker (born Melissa Viviane Jefferson) unʙuттoned her billowing outer garment to show off her eye-catching dress, which featured a low-cut corset bodice and vertical white beading across her bust.

She accessorized her over-the-top look with sheer fingerless gloves and two large diamond rings in the shape of flowers.

In addition to a flower tucked delicately behind her ear, the star, who became a household name following the mᴀssive success of her 2019 album Cuz I Love You, rocked a blood orange eyeshadow.

Meanwhile the singer sported a stunning makeup look created by beauty pro Alexx Mayo for Charlotte Tilbury, who focused on a ‘flushed cherry cheek’ for the evening.

To ensure that Lizzo’s complexion glowed on the carpet, Alexx prepped her skin with the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation and Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer, before applying the Matte Beauty Blush Wand to her cheeks.

Lizzo’s hair was then coiffed to perfection by hairstylist Shelby Swain, who used products from Sebastian Professional and tools from Harry Josh Pro Tools to create the perfect look to complement her floral ensemble.

‘Creating this look for Lizzo’s red carpet look was a love affair!’ Shelby revealed. ‘Lizzo’s look was inspired by the intricate beauty and detail of the flowers that illuminated her face and the vibrant color of her beautiful gown. I wanted to create romantic elegant hairstyle that complimented her bold beauty!’

To achieve that, Shelby prepped the hair with the Sebastian Professional Dark Oil line, before creating ‘perfectly sculpted body waves using the Harry Josh Pro Tools Cordless Flatiron and the Sebastian Professional Mousse Forte’.

‘I then created definition using the Harry Josh Pro Tools Ceramic Cordless Curling Wand and placed the sweet finishing curl and sprayed it with the Sebastian Professional Shaper hairspray for a moldable finish and humidity protection.’

The Truth Hurts crooner, who won three Grammy Awards in 2020 and her fourth at tonight’s ceremony for Best Remixed Recording, is scheduled to perform later tonight.

After posing for numerous solo sH๏τs, Lizzo was joined by her boyfriend Myke Wright, who cut a dapper figure in a classic black tuxedo, white dress shirt and bow tie.

Their walk down the red carpet together comes after she recently said she was ‘locked in’ with her beaux, 35, after years of being notoriously private about her personal life.

While on The Howard Stern Show earlier this week, she said: ‘We’re not playing any games with each other anymore. We’re very much locked in.’

The two have known each other since 2016 when they co-hosted the MTV music series Wonderland along with influencer Steak but was unsure if she was ready for a relationship at the time.

‘I had a lot of s*** to do, and I still was very much in my “I feel un-loveable” place, and I still was very much not where I wanted to be career-wise,’ she explained.

‘Even if a person came around that I was googly gaga about, I had these wild defenses up that made it almost impossible for a true, intimate relationship to occur.’

When asked if she sees herself marrying the television personality one day, Lizzo replied: ‘There’s nobody else I’m going to be with for the rest of my life.’

The musician has been spotted with her boyfriend several times in the past year though she has attempted to keep their relationship private.

Back in June, her handsome partner accompanied her on the red carpet of her dance compeтιтion reality series Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls at the DGA Theatre Complex in LA.

In April, the pair attended her 34th birthday party at Craig’s in West Hollywood.

She has also been seen wearing a gold ring on her wedding finger multiple times on TikTok and Instagram recently, but so far she hasn’t commented on a possible engagement or marriage.

Lizzo confirmed that she had a boyfriend during an appearance with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM Radio Andy show in April. However, she did not name him.

‘You were pH๏τographed in LA in February at Craig’s with a mystery man. Are you guys still together?’ the host inquired.

‘Yeah, whatever, yeah!’ she confirmed after bursting into laughter.

In addition to Lizzo, a slew of huge names will also be hitting the stage, with Harry Styles, Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Kim Petras and Sam Smith all set to perform during the ceremony.

Beyonce leads the nominees with a whopping nine nods, while Kendrick Lamar, Adele, and Styles follow close behind with numerous nominations each.

Rapper Jay-Z, 53, who is nominated in five categories, will perform track God Did alongside star-studded collaborators DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne,  Rick Ross, John Legend and Friday.

Kacey Musgraves will pay tribute to Loretta Lynn with a performance of Coal Miner’s Daughter, Sheryl Crow, Mick Fleetwood and Bonnie Raitt will perform Songbird in honour of Christine McVie and Maverick City Music and Quavo will perform Without You in memory of Takeoff.

There will also be a 50-year anniversary tribute to Hip-hop, curated by Questlove.

The nominees for the elite awards show were announced back in November by John Legend, Olivia Rodrigo, and other music stars. Nearly half of this year’s leading nominees are women and more than half are people of color, according to the recording academy.

The biggest contenders include Lamar, who scored eight nominations, along with Adele and Brandi Carlile, who both tied with seven. Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled, Future, The-Dream, and Randy Merrill are all up for six awards.

Recent Grammy regulars Lizzo and Doja Cat were also among the top nominees.

Taylor Swift, who has been making good on a vow to re-record her first six albums so she can control the rights to them, garnered nods for Best Song For Visual Media, Best Country Song, Best Music Video, and another in the prestigious Song of the Year contest for her 10-minute version of All Too Well.

Bad Bunny, indisputably the world’s biggest streaming and touring artist, came away with three nominations for his major drop Un Verano Sin Ti, which is in the running for best album.

Nominees for Album Of The Year feature an impressive and extensive field including ABBA – Voyage, Adele – 30, Bad Bunny – Un Verano Sin Ti, Beyoncé – Renaissance, Brandi Carlile – In These Silent Days, Coldplay – Music of the Spheres, Harry Styles – Harry’s House, Kendrick Lamar – Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, Lizzo – Special, and Mary J. Blige – Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe).

‘One of my favorite things about the Grammys as a whole is it is one of the few places where you get to experience artists in their rawest element, which is performing their music live,’ Trevor told Billboard last month.

‘Brandi Carlile performing a song live and you’re hearing her voice and listening to her play her instruments — there’s nothing like it. You develop a deep appreciation for what these people are doing beyond just the music that they make.’
